Although the most common architecture of A2Billing is a single server, sometimes more capacity is required, for instances in a large residential environment or for wholesale traffic.
To increase the capacity of A2Billing, the elements of A2Billing, Telephony, Database and web interfaces can be split onto different servers and more Asterisk telephony servers can be added to increase capacity.
If load balancing is required along with NAT traversal, then Opensips can be added in front of Asterisk to provide these services.
