Description

I am using PHP Version 5.1.6 Just downloaded a2billing from trunk today about 2 hours ago.

I can update or edit these files using "config editor" under "System settings" but can not update when I add new client or create sip or iax friend. The files are blank and no data goes into them.

it works fine here, it might be a permission issue on the file.

Actually, I have more information about this.

I can duplicate this bug by using Postgres instead of MySQL. Changing absolutely nothing else about the configuration or permissions, I get a 0-byte file when using Postgres and a correct file when using MySQL.

Furthermore, when using Postgres, in the "VoIP Settings" screen, although the list of VoIP settings shows data, clicking on any of the Edit links brings up an empty record.

So I suspect that something is wrong with the schema about SIP friends when using Postgres.

There is plenty of things missing for Postgresql, we don't have anybody supporting it at the moment so the schema is not up to date.

We might need to create new schema update for postgresql plus doing a lot of testing.

If you are up to the task, we will be delighted to help you. Otherwise I might advice to use Mysql.
